[생활지식]DMV라는 명칭을 공식적으로 쓰지 않는 주(State) 들

미국에 입국하면 반드시 취득해야하는 운전면허증은 일반적으로 DMV  (Department of Motor Vehicle. 한국에서의 운전면허시험장에 해당)에서 취득하는것으로 대부분 이해하고 있습니다.   실제 업무는 DMV와 같지만, 미국의 많은 주가 DMV라는 용어를 사용하는것은 아닙니다. 아래는 기관의 명칭을 다르게 사용하는 주들을 정리한 것입니다. 아래의 주들 외의 주들은 모두 DMV를 공통적으로 사용합니다.
